In 2021, Alison created the painting "F*ck Ur Colonial Gaze" in response to the removal of colonial monuments that were occurring that year.

The painting envisioned an Indigenous woman riding victorious after the "big one" (Mt. Rushmore) has been removed. It also serves as an image of rebellion against the disproportionately high rates of crime faced by Indigenous women and girls. The assertiveness shown by the rider expresses the power that comes with reclamation of personhood and of pride in one's identity.

Now, in 2025, the themes Alison presented feel as relevant as ever, perhaps more so, as we see such hard won achievements and recognitions being pulled back by those in power.

As her own act of rebellion against these developments and in response to popular demand, Alison has allowed us to release an exclusive print edition of Fck Ur Colonial Gaze, in a limited run of 99 copies.
