Rare Arctic Prints

This collection of rare and wonderful Inuit prints celebrates the 10^th year anniversary of our first Arctic Birds exhibit, titled in Inuktituk, Ikiurtaqtumi Timmiat.

The exhibit once again brings together exemplary prints of whimsical and legendary arctic birds, this time featuring some of the rarest and most unusual works created by master Inuit artists as early as 1964. Each piece in this collection was expertly made using the classic printmaking techniques of lithography, stone-cutting and aquatint etching.

We’re thrilled to showcase some of the most prestigious artists from the North, including Jessie Oonark, Kananginak Pootoogook, Pitaloosie Salia and Kenojuak Ashevak.
