"From a young child I had always felt a strong connection to deer. Memories of family expeditions, exploring the great north observing countless herds of deer. Their graceful subtle movements hidden in the meadows while grazing. One particular scene imprinted on me driving home from Alaska as the weather turned and the snow began to blanket the ground: the season had changed and in the distance you could see the silhouette of antlers in the snow with the backdrop of rolling hills and frozen water. It  was an unforgettable scene of inspiration."
