This painting was inspired by my daughter Naycia. She has always been a water baby, spending more time in the water than on land during the summers. Some of my favorite times are playing in the waves with her when she was younger. I tried to capture the essence of her spirit gliding smoothly through the crashing waves with the sun shining down through the surf.
