This painting depicts Raven slipping through the veil between worlds. He is making his move at twilight where time bends and contracts in ways that are unique to this special part of the day. Entering through the “looking glass” he transforms and travels into the spirit world… although gone for just a moment he can travel long distances and do much work while he moves through this “in between time.”
