"This is Wii S'gyiik, in my language it means Big Eagle. I did a couple of totem poles for a client in Pennsylvania about a year or two ago and I had a piece left over and I thought man that would make a great mask. The grain is beautiful, this is old growth western red cedar. It’s carved in Ts'msyen style, my style, and the painting on it the blue with red dashing has become a trade mark of mine.  You see it on a couple  of masks today in the show. I’m very proud to say that the style is a Ts'msyen-style totem pole carving. Hopefully this will grace someone’s home soon."
