When The One Who Walks All Over The Sky (one of the son’s of The Chief who created everything) was asleep, sparks flew out of his mouth. Those are the stars; and at night the moon receives its light from the shining face of the Sun, who is asleep. When The Moon is tired, he shoots light out of its smoke holes. The moon is seen as a gentle, healing energy, that people talk about in stories as rejenerative and giving. It also comes in tandum with the Sun, who is a powerful force that gives the Moon energy.
