This interpretation of the Raven/Human bond harkens to the numerous stories of Raven and his mystical abilities to take human form. The beginning of a beak, the feathers of the tail and the white wing swooping across the canvas bely the Raven’s form, while the subtle lines of pink along the bottom of the piece show the human face that is or was. The painting is scattered in echoes of the stars in the night sky, a brief peek at the celestial world of magic that Raven calls home.
