Born in 1892 in Cape Dorset, NU Etidloie Adla is a talented artist from a talented family. Both his grandfather’s, Audla Pee and Kulai Adla were respected carvers who influenced their young grandson’s future work. Etidloie’s brothers Ashevak Adla and the late Mappaluk Adla are also both highly regarded carvers in the world of Inuit art.
