"One time the wind blew non-stop for many days, creating havoc and destruction. All the big flying birds assembled and decided that one of them would have to fly into the headwind and plug up the mouth of Westerly Wind. Every big bird attempted to fly around the inlet with no success, even the Raven. When Seagull took flight, he tried flying low and hugging the shoreline so he could round the inlet where Westerly Wind was. Seagull is a powerful and skilled flier, especially in high winds, so he decided to give it try. It was very difficult and Seagull struggled against the onslaught of powerful gusts and gales for a very long time. When he finally made it, he hurled his spear and plugged the blowing wind, saving everyone. His efforts were appreciated by all and celebrated for years to come."
