The Moon is a very powerful symbol for our people. The Four Directions are represented by the Four Thunderbird Brothers. The color white is north, yellow is east, red is south and black is west. The colors and Thunderbirds represent the four seasons and are a part of the times and directions used in our lunar calendar.
